How To Use Misspelled Words In Inernet Marketing And Still Make A Lot Of Money
One of the key factors of any successful “inernet” marketing strategy is key word research. This is imperative in finding words and phrases that your customers are using to find you on the search engines like Google and Yahoo!. But lets face, not everyone is a great speller or pays attention to their typing. The number of search engine searches that contain misspellings are enormous.
I love it when someone writes to me after reading one of my many articles just to correct me on my spelling. First off, if you are so concerned that someone has a mispelled a word more than you are about the content, then you need a life, and secondly, by having a few misspellings in the content of my work is great because if I have misspelled a word then that means others will as well, and when they search for that word or phrase in the search engines, it means they will find me over my competitors.
When you look at the title for this article you find that I misspelled the word “internet” and while that was on purpose ; I wanted to illustrate to you that this will actually help me be found by Google or Yahoo!. The misspelling of “inernet marketing” was actually found through my statistics from people having misspelled it in the first place. And after a little research I found that that phrase “inernet marketing” was used quite a bit by folks like you and I.
So will happen is that folks will type in “inernet marketing” into their search browsers without noticing that they have misspelled the word and because no one has optimized their websites for this misspelling I will get all that traffic.
For those of you that no life and fixate on the minutia this will turn you off and you may or may not leave, but for the greater majority, I will have provided great content for you for which to read and comprehend.
So don’t be afraid to misspell words in your websites content, it may actually help you make more money by catering to those that can’t spell good or those that don’t worry about the little things of a mispelled word.
Also, if you are doing key word research for your web site then you may actually want to find out what the common misspelled words are and optimize your website for those spellings as to capture that traffic.
